  1. Curling of the future

Curling of the future

Introduction

In Curling of the Future, you can enjoy curling while experiencing technology that supports top athletes.

Often referred to as ‘chess on ice’, curling is a highly tactical sport in which the players demonstrate precise strategies on the ice. We aim to realize a new AI that reads the conditions of a game and evaluates and creates strategies, to support curling players.

We invite you to experience tactical play using the most advanced strategic analysis AI, which supports athletes who are preparing to take on the world at the Milano Cortina Winter Olympics.

As part of the Osaka EXPO 2025, we will be exhibiting our research from September 3rd (weds) to 8th (mon), 2025, in ‘Sports Future Lab – The future created by sport’, which is hosted by the Japan Sports Agency.

We look forward to seeing you there! For more information, please check the Japan Sports Agency homepage.
